this isn't his sort of club and he can't wait to go. No surprise there. At Folkestone hew was the big fish in a small pond. Now he's just another little fishy in a big pond. /cliche

When i spoke to him after the game on saturday he mentioned to me that he may even take a year out from the game whuch i was Terry Casey who paid 5k out of his own pocket for him, i would be a bit peeved off personally. A lot of players i asked said they didnt know as to whether they would be around next season, but then its early days yet for anyone to def know. Watch this space i guess

A lot of bad vibes around him (from and towards) and I would be amazed if he were to be playing for us next season. Talented player, no doubting that, but his attitude seems to be beating even himself

SK gave his winner's trophy to one of the fans. I don't know if that was a very generous act, or did the trophy not mean anything to him ?

It was Gamstone who got it - and I've been pondering the very same, Pat

Well, Gamstone did say he'd been buying Kingy beers all season, so you could say he was just been very generous, but who knows.

Yeah something's not quite right. Well that's the challenge for the management team, get him settled in to the environment...........far too good a player to give up on.

Totally agree with jackage, King has come to us not knowing anybody, has scored goals and set up a lot more.
He was a big fish at folkestone and don't get me wrong because I don't think he helps himself but I imagine there are some pretty big egos in the stones dressing room and that can't be easy for anyone to come in and settle straight away.
I am sure it hasn't quite gone to plan for him since joining but I imagine he is more frustrated than anyone, more so because he has been left out of big games.
This is a guy who gave up football all together a few years ago and it was Neil Cugley who refused to let his talent go to waste. I am sure over the coming months Jay will sit down with him and work out a way forward.
Next season will be different, I can't see Shaun or Boothy still being there and King will get more of a look in.
Anybody who watched him warming up at half time on Saturday would have seen how well him and Alex Brown were getting on.
His attitude is not always great but I would rather he was playing for us, and scoring for us, than against us.

spot on Ontheup. that's probably the most sensible post anyone has put on here about Kingy. I reckon he will be our top scorer next season - if he stays of course. Hope he does!

If he does read any of this crap I don't blame him one bit for any lack of compassion he shows towards any of the supporters.
Only a very small handfull of people have ever had anything decent to say about the bloke.

What he needs is a full pre season with his teammates and the team need to get used to him and he needs to get to know them, lets not write him off
