Chaps - as a bit of balance it is perhaps worth remembering there was 12 minutes plus injury time left when the original game was abandoned and when other games have been abandoned with similar time left they are invariably replayed.
Whilst a couple of our players did not cover themsleves in glory by pointing out the dangerous state of the remaining wall base, what Dulwich dont mention is that when the ref called the game off, our players had the ball on the centre spot ready to re start the match.
The ref made the decision, and whilst Dulwich were understandably angry, the abuse and bile that followed were completely out of order, and something we took on the chin without making a song and dance about.
For days after there were abusive telephnoe rants, and our local council were inundated with EMails demanding that our ground be closed.
Of course the wall should not have collapsed, but Dulwich seem to have the complete inability to accept any fault whatsoever, despite the fact that we've had far bigger crowds and the wall was fine, but then there weren't load of people scrambling all over it.
I do sympathise about the circumstances, we had a game abandoned due to fog at Burgess Hill 2 years ago when 2-0 up with similar time left and the home players were very quick to run off and get changed.....at the time we were all fuming, but within a few days we got over it and went back 3 weeks later and beat them 2-0!
I honestly believe that the bile spewing from a large section of their support contributed to their players mindset and helped lead to their defeat last night....conversely it certainly helped motivate us!
Anyway, hope you don't mind me posting this message, but I'm fed up of hearing all the one sided rubbish that Dulwich have spread about my Club.
I actually hope they win the League, I think they are the best team, and at least we wont have to play them again if we get into the plyoffs - though the thought of that probably worries them more than us!

I am now presuming you are having a dig at NWS, because i too am lucky enough to have a season ticket and can usually be found in the bar from about 1 supporting the club through alcohol consumption Yeah that was aimed at NWS -I'm bored with you now Don't worry mo. I'm used to attacks by Sittingbourne fans.

Can't believe the crap DullItch have posted on their forum to fans going to this game tonight about not spending any money...in protest at the last game being abandoned by the ref Good job the 500 odd Stones fans didn't take the same attitude when we had to return to their place the other week after THEY cocked up the original fixture forums.footballwebpages.co.uk/forum.jsp?id=250&view=summary&thread=That Pinkpanther comes on our forum all sweetness and light, but it looks like he's the one who kicked this off, he's gone right down in my estimation. These are his words: ''We pretty much beat these bastards once already on their own ground and now we've got to make an unnecessary trip to play them again.'' Come on you Tanners! I don't "come on here all sweetness and light", I come on here because this board is more interesting than most opposition boards and the vast majority of regulars post interesting comments. I say what I think, I don't just avoid disagreeing with people for the sake of it. Most of your supporters seem to be fine, especially those I've met on matchdays and chatted to in pubs over the past two seasons, but you're clearly a clueless idiot. Did you pay £9 on the turnstile for the postponed match at Dulwich? Travelling to away games that get postponed at short notice is something that unfortunately happens to regular away supporters who don't want to risk missing a match. Hitchin, Aylesbury, Hertford, Slough, Woking and Walthamstow are some of the grounds I've made wasted journeys to. I can fully understand your supporters being annoyed at that wasted journey to Dulwich, and if anyone was that annoyed it was their prerogative not to spend money in our bar / tea bar on programmes etc. when attending the rearranged game, which is fair enough. How much more annoyed would you have been if that game had got underway, then been needlessly abandoned with a few minutes to go just after you'd gone 2-0 up, then you'd had to go back a few months later and replay the whole game?
