Deep down l hope the league title is not won on this game as Dulwich was leading this game 2-0 after 80 mns and should have been given the points. If Leatherhead were to win this game and make the play offs by 2 points it would leave a bitter taste in my mouth. I don"t think anybody would won"t to win the title or make the play offs on this game. Rubbish! "A dog is for life not just for Christmas" like a game of football is for 90 minutes. If Dulwich beat them over 90 minutes then fair play. If Dulwich lose or draw over 90 minutes then fair play. Don't just consider Dulwich in this as being hard done by as it has to be fair to ALL the other teams in the league.

When all the games have been played for 90 minutes and not 78, then maybe Leatherhead will or will not be in the playoffs and maybe one of the teams you mention may miss out. That's the way the Ryman league officials want it to be.

Regarding the other teams missing out on a possible play off place if Leatherhead win again I don't care, I am only interested in Maidstone United, You don't see any of those teams mentioned playing hard against Dulwich to help us out, if anything they all seem to lie down for them.

Strong rumours on the Dulwich forum that Danny Carr has left the club. Not sure if they have him until the end of the season but surely a big blow to their title hopes if not. just found this Danny Carr signs professional terms! Our striker Daniel Carr today committed himself to Football League Championship club HUDDERSFIELD TOWN After visiting Yorkshire for all the practicalities of a medical he has signed a pre-contract with The Terriers, and will join up with them in the summer. Details of the deal have to be finalised, but the Football League club will allow him to finish the season at Champion Hill. He will, hopefully, be wearing their colours when they send their Under 21 side to South-East London for a pre-season match, prior to the 2013/14 campaign.

Hoping that some of the silly home draws dont come back to haunt us. The play offs are exciting but a bit of a lottery lets hope Hamlet 'go up in smoke' anf if not we shout the Stones to win the lottery.

What makes you think other teams "lie down" against Dulwich but try harder against your own team? Have you actually seen any Dulwich league games other than against Stones? We had a bloody hard game at Faversham last Saturday. They're a horrible team to play against and they absolutely battered us for most of the second half while we were leading 1-0. It seemed impossible that we could hold out, but we did, and got a spectacular second goal in the 89th minute to seal a 2-0 win. But that was a much harder game then the result makes it look. As for the Leatherhead v Dulwich game: it had to be replayed once it had been abandoned; the mistake was in abandoning it in the first place. The referee was confronted with a bizarre situation he wouldn't have encountered before and made a hasty decision, swayed by suggestions from Leatherhead players that the collapsed section of wall somehow posed a safety risk. There's far more danger of someone getting injured as a result of playing the entire ninety minutes again than there would have been from completing the few remaining minutes of the original game with maybe a few small crumbs of brickwork in the grass at the side of the pitch after the bulk of the debris had been removed onto the terraces..

I don't actually think it's a case of other teams lying down when it comes to playing Dulwich, not at all.
But I do think the number of Kent derbies we have to play works against us somewhat.
I'm sure the Tooting and Mitcham players raise their game more for a game against Dulwich than they do against us. In the same way that other kent teams, (which includes, Rams, Folkestone, Sitting, Faversham, Whitstable, HB, Hythe) raise their games against us.
Sure, being in a league called Ryman South you are likely to play a lot of teams who are geographically close to you, but even you Pink Panther wouldn't want to be playing Tooting and Mitcham every other week.
This isn't purely a Maidstone view either, Scott Porter (Hythe), Jim Ward (Sitt), Simon Halsey (HB) and Ray Turner (Fav) have all alluded to the number of Kent derbies and how it can be a disadvantage.
Re the Leatherhead game, personally I would have preferred both us an Dulwich to have played the same number of games at this point of the season.

That's a fair point, athough Hamlet hav dropped a fair number of points against those Kent teams: two defeats to Hythe, lost at Sittingbourne, held to a draw at home by Faversham, who equalised after having a man sent off. Don't forget most of your Kent rivals are having a good season and are in contention for the play-offs, so they aren't just playing well and getting results against Maidstone. but even you Pink Panther wouldn't want to be playing Tooting and Mitcham every other week. As long as it's at their place I wouldn't mind. We've never lost there! (Six wins and three draws in nine visits if my memory is correct.)

While we've got you, pinkpanther, is there somewhere that gives details of the teams that played the Final on Tuesday? Both teams' reports fail to provide this important information (for the neutrals that were there).

While we've got you, pinkpanther, is there somewhere that gives details of the teams that played the Final on Tuesday? Both teams' reports fail to provide this important information (for the neutrals that were there). Hamlet team was: 1 Chico Ramos 2 Luke Hickie 3 Ahmed Deen 4 Xavier Vidal 5 Peter Adeniyi (captain) 6 Lewis Goncalves 7 Nyren Clunis 8 Kevin James 9 Danny Carr 10 Erhun Oztumer 11 Ellis Green (official "Man of the Match"!) Subs: 12 Connor French (for Carr) 14 Junior James (for K.James) 15 Ethan Pinnock (for Deen) 16 Abdul Mansaray 17 Junior Kadi I noted the Concord team in my programme, but I haven't got it with me at the moment. It's annoying when people don't include that in match reports. I'll post it on Sunday if you still need it. I'm sure someone must have mentioned it on here already, but to answer Gaggy75 the play off semi finals are on Tuesday 30 April with the final on Saturday 4 May.
