Last time we won the league, I believe that they had the trophy in a car somewhere between our game at Walton Casuals and Tooting & Mitcham's game, wherever it was. I distinctly remember having to wait 30 mins or so for the trophy to arrive, despite the fact that we were top going into the last game that year. So presumably the trophy will be somewhere like Clackett Lane until the results come in. Well I hope they've spoken to ob1 to get the passcode for the Clackett Lane service road!

Something like 12 minutes of stoppage time, a couple of false starts for the pitch invasion at the end, and then another half hour or so waiting for the trophy. It's never easy being a STones fan. Yes, indeed. Just a shame that our two subsequent visits to Walton Casuals have been so agony-inducing.

Anyone who likes a flutter - Stones are 11/2 to win the league now - with Dulwich 1/10

Not 100% sure but I think if Folkestone beat us they'll be away to Faversham or Hythe as they finished 5th. Hopefully not going to be an issue though!

Hopefully finishing the job off at the Gallagher, would be a great finish to a fantastic coming home season. Hope we nail this one for more than the obvious. Stones finished 17 points above Faversham!

Not so! We finished 11 points above them. It was Folkestone who were 17 points below us.

Doh! Yep, still nearly three wins more over the season. Had they not have had the smash & grab at the GS we'd be champions, but hey ho there were other opportunities lost over the season we could list!
