Dulwich are winning 2-0. The unsafe wall collapses at Leatherhead with 10 mins to go and the game has to be replayed.
Wingate get their 5th player sent off last Saturday with 10 mins to go, so game abandoned. Thurrock were winning 1-0 and are awarded the points.
If I was a Dulwich fan I would be pretty peeved at this.

Two completely different circumstances / matters.
Wall - beyond anybodies control Wingate - The actions of their players so they were clearly in the wrong.

I don't think they are entirely as different as you suggest, Heathside.
Leatherhead were responsible for crowd safety and had an unsafe wall. Yet have been rewarded with the chance of 3 points, they would have been very unlikely to have got otherwise. Walls in grounds are surely in the control of the club owning them, in today's H & S regimes, not just 'beyond anybodies control'.

Does it matter? As long as it screws up Dull-Witches promotion push!

Does it matter? As long as it screws up Dull-Witches promotion push! I'm hoping there game this weekend is cancelled due to the bad weather and the appalling pitch at Hythe

I think there is a precedent for results standing if a team is rendered short of players through sendings off.
And it could be argued that it was the Dulwich fans themselves who demolished the wall

Leatherhead may well be responsible for crowd safety, but they can't legislate for the Dulwich fan who clearly stood on the wall in the second half. This was openly displayed by some Dulwich numpty on Youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajSc3GuAj3garound 2m 45s into the video Secondly how long did it take us to score 3 goals on Saturday with 11 players. 10 minutes. So therefore the 11 minutes + injury time left at Leatherhead was clearly enough time to score 3 goals with 11 players. Scoring at least one and maybe two with 6 players, not much chance. Let's ask 'antstone the odds on that one

The big difference is that Wingate & Finchley clearly orchestrated the abandonment of their game. The 5th player deliberately got himself sent off so the ref would have no choice. Glad the Ryman have awarded the game to Thurrock because now the cheating t**t has got himself a suspension for nothing.

And the club should also be heavily fined for failing to control their players

Not sure they play in the same place TA, obviously same area, but you know what these non league teams are like. Someone will google it in a mo and tell us how far the grounds are apart haha.
