Just a quick response to the posts on this thread..i will remain nameless due to the threatening nature of some of your more moronic supporters. I support a side in this division that has taken 4 of the possible 6 points from the mighty "Stones" this season. I personally believe that MUFC are a great addition to the league but you have a core of absolute scum that seem to follow you around. My 10 year old grandson was sworn at and told to F**k off by a few of your beer bladdered slobs. His crime was to cheer his home club when we scored. So my view is that maybe this level of football is better off without you and long may you struggle in the upper reaches......because let's face it, you are never going to be Dover or Gillingham let alone...sorry can't think of a higher level team.... Always nice to hear from a Worthing fan. Sorry about your bad experience here, shame nothing was done at the time about this, as it is not something we want associated with us, particularly with nippers

So it's Nazi ST as in Nazist. I think we are slowly rumbling you Mr Oswald Moseley. Before the accusations go too far, Suffolkstone actually lives with a brown male. I've lived with brown ale for a while, but I've never been accused of anything!

I would like to disagree with one or two of you. There were three stewards involved at the end of the game in the town end including the safety officer. It was not possible to pick out who threw the beer as it all happened very quickly but we tried our best to get the supporters to move on and leave the area. During the second half the safety officer and myself went into the stand to try and stop some morons from kicking the back of the stand. You could actually see the metalwork bending from behind the stand they were kicking it that hard. As we walked away we were ridiculed for our actions. Yes I agree we need more stewards, looking after 1800 is not easy. Some of us have just completed a NVQ course in crowd control/stewarding and have done first aid and fire training so the club is working hard on getting us trained up but we do need more people to help, so if you fancy a go get in touch with the club instead of coming on here giving us a hard time, after all we are all volunteers and give up a lot of our time for the club. Also if you were one of the idiots that can't stand losing or hold your drink then stay away, we don't want you.

I'm glad I wasn't in the town end for this. I have been appalled by the lack of stewarding at recent games. The level of racist and homophobic abuse there has been embarrassing and I haven't enjoyed being there with my 10-year-old so we headed for the main stand on Saturday. Some of the worst excesses come from the kids whose parents are nowhere to be seen. All it would take to sort it out is 20 stewards in there to remove and ban the idiots and the rest would soon get the message. Banter between fans is great - abuse is not.

softlad, where is the club supposed to get 20 stewards from to police one area of the ground. If you see or hear any problems please bring it to the attention of the nearest steward who will contact the safety officer on the radio and hopefully resolve the problem. It is amaing how many fans seem to know who the problem people are but when we tried to sort it out on Saturday nobody would point the finger.

I appreciate what you're saying but it's not easy. Am I supposed to leave my son in there to go and look for one? I have looked around to see if there are any stewards about but there never are. Assuming I do manage to locate one, do I walk back with him and point out the twenty or thirty who are shouting illegal obscenities and risk getting my head kicked in? People are scared. If the club aren't prepared to have stewards in there then the stand shouldn't be open.

It's a rare privilege nowdays to stand on a terrace supping a beer, so lets not let these nobbers ruin it. It only needs a few to ruin it for the rest of us and destroy our reputation as a decent bunch earned over the exile years. We need to nail it now and we can't expect the stewards to deal with it on their own.
At this level, segregation of any form shouldn't be needed. The tight confines of the Gallagher should generate a good atmosphere with rival fans mixing. It's all these factors which make football at this level more enjoyable.
The aggressive attitude and throwing of beer is frankly embarrassing and tinpot. I've been Ebbsfleet several times over the past few years and most games apart from Luton are unsegregated with no problems whatsover. I was over there Fri when Macclesfield tonked them 0-4, but nonetheless, no grief and everyone shared a beer after. That is how it should be.
We don't want some classless feckers starting up their own little firm for a bit of fun on a Sat, it would be the one surefire way of halving crowds at the Gallagher.

Having read all the posts and agreeing with most, I think an alcohol ban outside the spitfire lounge or segregate it to that corner by the turnstiles should be made with immediate effect. Yes I love a beer but i would forsake a pint for the good of a great club and getting it dragged through the gutter which we probably are at the moment on non-league forums . I suggest a steward on the way to the main stand, 2 behind the Townend and 1 ( a bit of a menacing type!) in front of the townend stand. I know this would meen moving the outside bar but is that really a problem. Interesting to know what other Stones fans think, if its a 'yes' it should be put to Terry,Oliver and Bill as an option for the next game.

Why ban drinking outside of the Spitfire lounge, most people who were at the Town End during second half know what group it was causing the problems, its a group of newbies that I haven't seen @ Sittingbourne or Ashford, surely action should be taken against this group before its ruined for the rest.

We have had nearly 40000 through the gate since our first friendly and we have had the one bad incident. We all agree we dont want it at Maidstones home games but it will happen now and then. Some teams who get far less then us attending have more trouble makers than us. I guess because it was a late winner it probably happened but lets just try and ban or caution them and move on. Its like world war 3 broke out!! I agree with whoever said about the Stewards we need them to just dive in and get rid of them. Iceman have you been to Whitehawk or met some of the Tonbridge fans! Its one incident and saying we are better off without you utter tosh, try saying that to all the clubs that we take more than a few hundred to.

I think we have all had our say regarding this situation and pretty much agree it should never happen again, i agree that people need to vigilant and report any issues to the stewards who to be perfectly honest are doing a bloody fantastic job, we need to remember if it wasn't for these people didnt give up there time free of charge there would be no games being played at the Gallaghers, so come on guys lets remember we are Maidstone UNITED, lets root these idiots out and get back to the enjoying the game as it should be, we don't want to scare families off coming to the games and being exposed to such behaviour, onwards and upwards

Unfortunately a group of younger lads seemed to have 'latched' onto this group One of the younger lads tried to hit the bloke who scored Leatherheads 2nd as he ran in front of the stand, they're just as bad tbf.
