Comprehensively outplayed, outfought and outthought on the pitch and numpties causing bother off the pitch. If anyone has pictures video footage of people throwing a bottle on the pitch or attempting to abuse/intimidate away fans or throw beer at them then please forward to the club so we don't have them back. We worked too darn hard to get our team home for silly people to give us a bad reputation.

Grow up NWS it was no more than a bit of up-heated banter. They wound us up, we wound them up, a few words .That is Unless I missed a mass brawl .

Lame excuse No.37:
Not sure why ends were swapped before KO; normally it works out that visiting fans are in the quieter end both halves.
I have seen kids hushed for language, and if I get sprayed with beer intended for visiting fans the culprit will be begging the stewards for protection. We have to sort this ourselves before drinking gets banned and all kinds of silly rules come in.

This is all part of growing up as a club. We've had half a season at The Gallagher and in that time have had to cope with so many new situations and problems ( talking about off the pitch now, not on it ). Crowds of 1,750 are a blessing, but also create problems.
Remember when we played AFC Wimbledon in the FACup at Bourne Park in 2008/09 ? That attracted a huge crowd, but also attracted a number of ****heads who felt it was fine to set off a ruck in the bar. So lets live and learn.
FWIW I think beer should be banned outside of the club house. It's banned as such in the FACup by the FA I guess just to avoid such emotions & problems - sometimes the "blazers" do know best.............

To be fair banter is one thing aggressive and threatening is another. Beer throwing either over an individual or on to the pitch is unacceptable and as welcome as genital warts.
I wasn't at the game today so Im have no idea to what level any transgressions were. I have every confidence that the club will deal with this matter in the appropriate way.

This something that has raised its head now and again ,things have beeen thrown onto the pitch already this season. It seems a shame to ban drinking ,although i dont anyway at the match. But this is the big time now with the crowds we're getting ,perhaps crowd segreagation would be the way to go .It will have to happen sooner or later anyway ,part of the whatman end would be fine......

Seems a shame to lose the freedom to roam any earlier than we have to I'd rather lose the transgressors if they can be identified.

A few months ago we were saying something similar after a youngster threw something on the pitch. I seem to remember that they were spoken to and came back looking sheepish. Some of the people who saw it thought it was a fine way to deal with it, I didn't. It may not have been as bad as what happened against Letherhead but we only have ourselves to blame. What happened then set a precedent for what could be done for the rest of the season.
I remember having a chat a couple of months ago with someone I'd never seen before. I can only say that this person thought it was great fun to go to games, get pi55ed and fight as many people as possible. They told me that they thought it was absolutely find to do as it always happens.
I've walked around the ground (yes I've left the VP and the smoked salmon area) and seen people smoking canabis on more than one occasion. We have done very little in combatting small things that have happened and they will escalate. I know someone has exposed themselves to away fans at a game. I'm think this was dealt with but i'm pretty sure they still attend games.
Certain things have happened that we have let slide. It will only get worse as these people will push the boundarys each time. Each time they get away with it, the next will be worse.
We made our own bed a few months ago so I'm afraid we now have to lie in it.

Agree 100 % Animal. I'm sure Bill & others at the club read through this rubbish ( god help them ) & will act in the best interests of our club.

mr suffolkstone, im gona throw my beer and plastic cup on the pitch, then another in your face, stick a finger near your eye and scream a threat as loud as possible, all in the name of maidstone united.....but its ok... cos its banter and if you get upset i'll tell you to grow up. you want that to happen again? then let those twats in. many good people spent a long time raising money, sponsored walks, investments etc to get the stones to where they are now not to be dragged down to that level.

Grow up NWS it was no more than a bit of up-heated banter. They wound us up, we wound them up, a few words .That is Unless I missed a mass brawl . After reading what is written by BOTH sets of fans I think it may be you who needs to grow up. There was something thown on to the pitch after they scored their third and, according to quite a few people from that end of the ground people were being a little aggressive in their behaviour and throwing things at opposing fans, with some of our decent fans acting to protect them. The fact that several people have identified one of OUR number getting showered in beer because the stupidity speaks volumes. As for banter...please feel free to use this link to further your education dictionary.reference.com/browse/banter

I'm sorry to say this the culprits can only be newbies although I've loved the new crowd and the vast numbers,us that struggle with the club wouldn't disrespect our club, because all the fundraising etc I actually with a hardcore 200ish feel like it's my club and would b here without us,so it downs to us to clampdown on these d*ckheads,I see the pint come onto the pitch and if I was at that end I would have certainly said my peice,
