Entertaining night out and good to see some former Maidstone players and their families once again.
Loved it when Lyndon did his 'dance' and was then mimicked by Dave Beasant - brilliant!

For those of us with defective memories, can anyone name the players in the slideshow?

I've marked up the players I recognised, any help on the others would be appreciated

I think the biggest notable difference between the two teams was dave beasant, some brilliant saves. And who was the acadamy player wearing 9, very tasty bit of football he came up with, not frightened to take on half dozen ex pro defenders. And Les Apps managed to jog from one side of the half way line to the other. Great game, great atmosphere

Hope we make this an annual event. Great laugh and great to see those players who were with us in the exile years finally get to play in Maidstone. Nice to see that Jimmy Strouts still isn't afraid of a hard challenge.
From his performance last night, Dave Beasant could easily play in our league. If we ever need cover...

Dave Beasant bloody hell i remember him when he played at Newcastle, i am sure he had holes in his hands, he was appalling, obviously got better with age

Cheers for the photos, kj.
Does anyone have the team lists for this game. I would love to know who played (especially our old players)

Adrian the team list would not be much good really. Our old players included Aaron Lacey, Mo Takaloo, Simon Austin, Lynden Rowland, Kane Rice, Jimmy Strouts, Pat Mullins. Perhaps someone will add to that as my memory not as good as it was
